Trivandrum City
A perfect blend of heritage and modernity
Hey there! Ever heard of Trivandrum? Some people call it Thiruvananthapuram, but it is the same charming city I have fallen in love with. Reason? I was born and brought up here! It has a ton of neat things to check out - think eye-catching scenery and a super chill vibe. You will find this regal beauty down south in India, serving as the capital of the awesome state called Kerala. And yeah, let me tell you, it’s steeped in a whole heap of history and culture. Definitely a must-see!
I'm absolutely smitten with Trivandrum's beauty - it's
definitely one of my favorite things about the city! It's nestled amongst vibrant green hills,
which truly amplify its charm. But the beaches - oh, the beaches! They're truly
a sight to see. Imagine golden sands paired with pristine blue waters, the
perfect spot for some relaxation and sunbathing. One of the
most loved beaches here is Kovalam Beach. It's loved by tourists and locals alike.
From its serene waters to the stunning views that it offers, it's no surprise
why it's a crowd favorite.

One more thing I'm totally in love with Trivandrum for is its weather. It's tropical style, so get ready for a warm and moist toast all year, guys. But, don't stress out. Trivandrum is really cool unlike other tropical cities: temperatures here hardly ever hit above 35 Celsius even during summers. Wait till you experience monsoon seasons between June and September! Rains and cool winds bring a delightful switch in the city's climate, trust me!
What sets Trivandrum apart? It's the city's serene ambiance! Unlike other big cities in India, it isn't heavily packed with people. So, you'll experience less noise and pollution here. If you're looking to press pause and escape the hectic city life, Trivandrum's your place! But that's not all. This peaceful city has more on its plate - a treasure trove of temples and religious sites. These sacred spots boost the tranquil vibe, gently whispering ‘Peace is Here’. In a nutshell, if calm and spirituality sound like your kind of thing, Trivandrum is calling your name!
If you ever find yourself in Trivandrum, Padmanabhaswamy Temple should definitely be on your bucket list. This temple is not only one of the wealthiest in the world. But it's also a fantastic showcase of grandiose architecture and historical importance. Most importantly, it's a sacred place of worship dedicated to Lord Vishnu. So, when you're in Trivandrum, make sure to visit. You won't want to miss it!

Besides its stunning temples, Trivandrum houses a myriad of museums and art galleries that you simply shouldn't miss! The Napier Museum is a must-see in the city. This is where you will immerse yourself in Kerala's rich history and vibrant culture. And while you are on your museum-hopping spree, do not forget to stop by the Keralam Museum. Expect to be wowed by the delightful snapshot of Kerala's art, culture, and history it offers. Not to mention its unique and engaging approach to keep you hooked – it surely is a treat.
Thiruvananthapuram is a city that's famed for its scrumptious food! You will find the freshest and most flavorful seafood. With dishes like fish curry, prawn fry, and crab roast topping the must-try list. But it's not just seafood the city excels in. Trivandrum is equally applauded for its traditional vegetarian fare. Prepared with the choicest fresh ingredients and a burst of aromatic spices, you'll be left hankering for more. So don't forget to try it when you’re next in town. Bon appΓ©tit!
Just thought I'd share how fantastic the city of Trivandrum is! It's truly a beauty, with an inviting climate and tranquil atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation. Doesn't matter what you're into. Trivandrum is the city where everyone leaves feeling invigorated and brand new.
